JUST LOVE

JUST LOVE

Children embracing in circle around the camera and smiling
Just Love is simply loving, serving, building relationships, and bringing the unconditional love and good news of Christ to the families we serve in the East End of Richmond.
Just Love consists of the following:
  • SHINE, a family friendly outreach on Saturday mornings, is about Jesus, fun, food, crafts, games, sports, reading, prayer, worship, encouragement, and discipleship.
  • HOPE Kids is a gathering for elementary kids that includes snacks, an interactive Bible lesson, and other fun activities.
  • IMPACT Youth is a gathering for middle and high school students that includes dinner, inspiring messages, practical teachings, guest speakers, field trips, and other fun activities.
  • HOPE Women includes a women’s Bible study and porch visits to our friends in the community.

FREEDOM

FREEDOM

Woman feeling free in a beautiful natural setting.
Freedom is about reaching and loving women, children, and men who are involved in or at-risk of being sexually exploited/trafficked in the Richmond Metro Area. We believe that transformation, healing, and freedom can happen within the context of relationship – a relationship with Christ and others who want the best for them.
Freedom consists of the following training and outreach opportunities:
  • Freedom Training – Virtual Training to offer education, awareness, and orientation for any of our Freedom outreaches.
  • Princess Night – There are sections/streets of our city that demonstrate high levels of sexual exploitation/trafficking. For those people we encounter, we offer compassionate care through gifts (meal & self-care hope bags), clothes, prayer, resource navigation, advocacy, and friendship.
  • Outreach Hub – Using safe and specialized technology, we call women, children, and men that have online ads in the commercial sex industry. This is a partnership with Rescue America, in which they offer a 24/7 hotline number for those wanting to exit the life.
  • Beloved Night – We offer love, encouragement, prayer, and friendship to those working in area strip clubs.
  • Click here to sign up for Freedom Training.  Once you complete training, you can then sign up for Princess Night and Outreach Hub.  For more information, email vangie@rvahopecenter.org

ENCOUNTER

ENCOUNTER

Many hands together: group of people joining hands
Every person who serves with us is considered an RVA Hope Center Missionary. Encounter is about our Missionaries serving others and having the opportunity to lean into God, grow in faith, encounter Him, and help others do the same. Outreaches can be as short as a few hours or as long as a week. Whether you want to join one of our already existing outreaches, or tailor something specific to your team, we welcome you to partner with us in the work God is doing in and through RVA Hope Center.
For more information on our Encounter Initiative, email aaron@rvahopecenter.org.
